This family portrait of George Currie Clark was taken at the Boyd photographic studio in Seattle in about 1897. George Clark Sr. and Jessie Janet Stewart Coutts are the maternal great great grandparents of the seven Lambert and Koenig children. Add an extra "great" for each succeeding generation.

George Currie Clark, was born on 4 Jun 1851 in Coorluke, Scotland. He died on 4 Apr 1919 in Issaquah, WA. Jessie Janet Stewart Coutts was born on 30 Oct 1852 in Penicuick, Scotland, and died on 19 Nov 1923 in Issaquah, WA. They were married on 30 Dec 1870, Jessie bore ten children between 1871 and 1894. The eighth child, Charles, was born in 1888 but died fifteen months later. The next child, born in 1890, was also named Charles.

Robert C. Clark was born on 3 Dec 1871 in Aberdeen, Scotland, and died on 15 Mar 1941. He was married to Ann Jane Hall, but the date of marriage is unknown and there is no record of any children. Anne's mother, Elizabeth Jane Jones, was married twice and produced one child from each union, the other being William Hall Jones, who married Robert Clark's sister Helen Dickson Clark. There is a picture below showing both William Hall Jones and Robert C. Clark.

Helen Dickson Clark was born 12 Apr 1874 in Morningside Square, Cambusnethan District, Lanark Co., Scotland. She died 26 Feb 1960 in Seattle, WA. On 27 Mar 1893 she married William Hall Jones. They had six children, including Grace Dickson Jones.

Grace Curry Clark was born on 8 Aug 1876 in Aberdeen, Scotland. She died 20 Nov 1958. She married Thomas Dobson, but the date is unknown. They produced one daughter and three sons; Evelyn (unknown DOB), Thomas (unknown DOB), David C. Dobson, born in 1918, and John W. Dobson (unknown DOB).

George C. Clark was born on 26 Nov 1878 in Aberdeen, Scotland. He died on 25 Sep 1956 in Issaquah, WA. On 20 Oct 1903 he married Lulu C. Foutts. There is no record of children.

Jim Clark was born on 30 Mar 1881 in Canton, White Co., Ohio. He died on 11 Feb 1948 in Renton, WA. He married Emily Gascoyne on 24 Apr 1912 in Seattle, WA. There is no record of children.

Jessie Clark was born on 19 Jul 1883 in Canton, White Co., Ohio. She died on 10 Jun 1950 in Seattle, WA. She married William Webster on 3 Jul 1907. There is no record of children.

Elspeth Clark (far right in back row) was born on 6 Dec 1885 in Howenstine, Ohio. She died 12 Jun 1958 in Issaquah, WA. On 30 Mar 1905 she married Clyde Darst. They had four sons, Earl, Stuart, Clyde Jr. and Clark.

David Clark, youngest of the children, was born on 6 Aug 1894 in Issaquah, WA. He died in May, 1962 in Seattle. He married Theresa Glewwe, but it is not known when or whether they had children.

Charles Clark (foreground) was born on 6 Nov 1890 in Newcastle, WA. He died on 7 Jan 1937 in Issaquah, WA. He married Ina Rose, but it is not known when or whether they had any children.

William Hall Jones (back right) married Helen Dickson Clark, sister of Robert Clark (back left). Robert Clark married Ann Jane Hall, half-sister to William Hall Jones.

Elizabeth Jane Jones brought her son William Hall Jones to America when he was a child. There is much mystery surrounding Elizabeth and her husband(s) and children.
